The Global Health Law Consortium seeks to engage with policymakers in the development and implementation of global health law, coming together to provide authoritative interpretations of legal instruments in global health. These interpretations are developed as consensus statements of the entire Consortium. Developed through background papers, pre-conference meetings, and drafting groups, the Consortium has held consensus conferences to interpret key provisions of the International Health Regulations (2019-2021) and to develop the Principles and Guidelines on Human Rights and Public Health Emergencies (2021-2023).
